MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen our Engineering group with a Regional Engineering Lead for our Thames Water region. Based in the Thames Water region, you will be working with the client and the wider team to manage the process of developing designs from feasibility through to construction and handover.
You will ensure that the necessary design activities and outputs, stakeholder engagement, 3rd Party liaison, compliance with relevant client and industry standards have been achieved, whilst maintaining a strong health and safety culture.
The role will initially also cover the Northumbrian Framework. The duration of this element of the role is not defined and may be for the duration of the AMP.
Purpose of Role
• Provide leadership to the regional Engineering team and act as the Head of Engineering within the region.
• Ensure tactical delivery of the Engineering Strategy within the region.
• Define the regional Design Management Plan (including design philosophy and regional values) whilst maintaining the direction of the Engineering Strategy.
• Maintain cost and schedule performance of all work performed for region.
• Own and nurture the relationship with the region’s client organisation/s and regional delivery colleagues.
• Ensuring digital compliance and data integrity.
Liaise with RELs from other regions as necessary, and participate in, and contribute to, wider engineering team workshops and sessions.

• Delivery of Engineering Strategy within region.
