About The Role

MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their Finance team with a Finance Support Assistant for our @one Alliance framework.
 

Joining an established Commercial Support community, you’ll build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we consistently meet compliance with standards and procedures in respect of commercial activities.

Furthermore, you’ll be on hand to provide both reactive and proactive support to the Finance and Commercial teams to complete day-to-day activities as well as contributing to longer- term projects to improve our efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure Goods Received Notes are actioned within an agreed timeframe.

  • Check delivery tickets match against the purchase order.

  • Proactively resolve payment blockers and access vendor portals to obtain proof of deliveries.

  • Maintain control of project documentation to ensure any audit requirements are met on a consistent basis.

  • Produce a host of reports such as aged debt, expenditure and financial to provide accurate data to support business decisions.

  • Provide a host of value-added actions such as accruals, SAP forecasts and general monthly finance tasks to support partner commercial activities.

About You

To join the team in this involved and important role to deliver commercial excellence, you’ll be commercially and financially aware with strong knowledge of Microsoft office packages. It would be advantageous if you have used SAP before.  Able to demonstrate strong communication skills and relay complex data and information to a non- finance literate audience on a regular basis, you’ll enjoy keeping strong relationships with a range of groups.

Able to work to tight time frames by showing prioritisation skills and being able to adapt in a dynamic environment, you’ll be a team player who wants to help improve the service we currently offer.
