About The Role

Project Manager – Military/Veterans (locations)

37.5 hrs Mon-Fri Full Time/Permanent Role

At MWH Treatment we’re looking for talented, motivated people who are great at communicating and thrive working within a team – we recognise that these traits are familiar to those who have served within the military. Due to expansion within the water industry we are looking for Project Managers at various locations across the UK.

As a Project Manager, you’ll be expected to take ownership of all aspects of the project, drive the team to deliver on time and to budget. You will need to lead, coach and guide your team to meet stage goals using your experience in the military. You will need to be an approachable Project Manager who is keen to pass on experience and knowledge to develop others and drive outperformance amongst the team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Management of sustainable solutions and Carbon reduction
  • Contract management (in collaboration with Project Commercial Manager)
  • Governance approval and change control
  • Management of risk and opportunities
  • Integrator for Supply Chain / Procurement and internal / external stakeholders / project team building and collaborative working
  • Uphold the Health & Safety standards in all Project Management processes with the mantra of ‘Nothing is so important that we cannot take the time to do it safely’ at the heart of all activities 

About You

Experience

  • Budget management
  • Leading & managing multiple discipline teams
  • Risk and opportunity management

Basic Qualifications

  • Maths/Literacy competency
Nice to have
  • Project management experience/ Qualifications (APMP, Prince2, IOSH, Lean, MS Project) or willingness to complete
