MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their HR Team with a HR Business Partner for our ESD Joint Venture. Based at the Stepps office you will help develop and deploy the ESD people plan which will include; Change Management, Talent Development, learning and development, Resource Planning and Onboarding and Cultural Engagement.

ESD is a joint venture between MWH Treatment, Black & Veatch, and Galliford Try formed to deliver Scottish Water’s Non-Infrastructure programme. 

You will report directly to the COO of ESD and the responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Senior Leadership Team with the establishment of Flexible Working arrangements, including office and remote working

  • Work with Department Heads and JV Partners to identify, source and recruit appropriate resources

  • Work closely with Stakeholders and Line Managers to build capabilities, plan and manage talent and develop/support approaches that achieve shared organisational objectives

  • Drive the people agenda in line with the framework strategy including talent management. and organisational development.

  • Initiate and drive cultural change.

  • Working with the team to design and implement key initiatives relating to areas such as talent, performance management, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing.

  • In partnership with managers take ownership of implementing a robust people plan.

  • Coaching Managers and individuals.

  • Undertake and lead HR project work as identified and agree.

  • Work closely with ESD Training Coordinator and partner L&D teams to provide support in the co-ordination of training & development for managers and their teams in line with performance management tools.

About You

  • Previous HR experience within a similar role

  • Excellent IT skills in Sharepoint and other cloud-based applications, MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and social media including Yammer

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • Previous experience working in complex environments
